Howard Summer Graduation

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – Graduation isn’t only in the spring time.

In fact, 18 hard working students graduated this summer from the Howard School.

The celebration is called “Power of Hope,” and it gives these graduates the recognition they deserve.

LeAndrea Ware is the Executive Principal at the Howard School of Academics and Technology.

“It’s all about just celebrating our students who have worked really hard. They’ve persevered. They’ve shown grit. They’ve shown stamina and they work diligently to get here today.”

After the graduation, the school held a “next steps fair.”

That event included employers and business people to help the graduates make decisions about their future plans.
