Dalton Beats Ringgold 42-24 in Completion of Friday’s Weather Delayed Contest

Dalton, GA-(WDEF-TV) Dalton and Ringgold had some unfinished business on Monday night. Their Friday game was called at the half due to weather with the Catamounts up 21-10. Then the GHSA stepped in and said you guys must return to play the second half. So the cat-fight resumed on Monday with Dalton winning 42-24. The Catamounts scored on their first snap of the third quarter on a 38-yard run from Jahmyr Gibbs. Next series and Gibbs scored on a 13-yard run to make it 35-10. Ringgold answered just before the end of the third quarter with a short touchdown run from Dalton Green. Then on the Catamounts first snap of the fourth quarter, Landon Allen hit Gibbs on a 53-yard scoring strike to make it 42-17. The Catamounts went on to win it 42-24.
