Dalton Police looking for Planet Fitness assailant

DALTON, Georgia (WDEF) – Dalton Police are looking for a man who pulled a knife on a woman as she was leaving the gym.

It happened outside Planet Fitness on Tuesday night around 10:30 PM.

The victim had just gotten into her car and putting away her headphones, but her driver’s side door was still open.

The suspect brandished a knife and leaned against the car.

But he told her to drive away.

She did it, but stopped on the other side of the parking lot.

She saw him drive away in a 1998-2002 model silver Honda Accord coupe with a spoiler and sunroof.

The suspect was described as a white male wearing a ball cap with a beard, standing approximately six feet tall with an average build in his late 20’s or early 30’s.
