Reed pleads guilty to Cleveland triple stabbing

CLEVELAND, Tennessee (WDEF) – A man pleaded guilty on Thursday to a triple stabbing in 2016 at the Springbrook apartments.

Steven Jacob Reed was charged with attacking two women in one apartment and a man in another.

Both Crystal Canino and Crystal York McCarter both died from multiple stab wounds.

Sewell Anthony Beck required emergency surgery, but survived.

On Thursday, Reed pled guilty to Second Degree Murder and Attempted Second Degree Murder.

He was sentenced to 52 years in prison.
