Bradley County Sheriff sworn in Saturday

BRADLEY COUNTY, Tenn. (WDEF)- The new Bradley County Sheriff Steve Lawson was sworn in Saturday.

The ceremony was held at Bradley Central High School.

Lawson beat incumbent Bradley County Sheriff Eric Watson in this year’s election.

Lawson wrote on Facebook saying, “Today has been a long time in the making. I wouldn’t be here without each and every one of you who have supported me and my family along the way. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I will make you proud!”
