Pedestrian killed on I-75 NB near Ringgold Exit

RINGGOLD, Ga (WDEF) – A man was killed while walking on I-75 NorthBound near the Ringgold exit.

It happened around 4:00 am Saturday..

The man’s name has not yet been released.

The Georgia State Patrol says a vehicle that was traveling northbound crossed over the fog line and struck the pedestrian.

The victim was northbound on the right shoulder and on the right side of the fog line.

GSP says the pedestrian was struck with the cars right front headlight.

GSP S.C.R.T is continuing the investigation.
