A pickup truck fails to tame the mountain

DUNLAP, Tenn. (WDEF) – The Dunlap Fire Department is showing how, in a contest between a pickup and a mountain, the mountain won again.

The heavy-duty pickup truck was towing a trailer loaded with another truck up highway 111 on Thursday.

It made it to the waterfalls pull-off before the towing truck caught on fire.

The pickup was a total loss, but no one was hurt.

Ironically, the vehicle that was being towed was a 40-year-old fire truck, itself.
