Adam LZ drifts through Chattanooga Motorcar Festival
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — The Chattanooga Motorcar Festival began Friday morning. Car enthusiasts lined the streets and took to the track for some high-speed entertainment.
The racing began at 8 a.m. and continued throughout the day.
Many different types of cars hit the track, such as Targa Sixty-Six and Ragtime Racers.
The event even included an RTR drift car, driven by professional driver Adam LZ. Adam has 3.7 million followers on YouTube and has been drifting for about eight years.
He took News 12’s Courtney Goins for a ride around the track as well.
“This is my first year at Chattanooga Motorcar Festival. I’m excited. It looks really cool. I didn’t really know what to expect, so getting here, this is rad,” Adam LZ said. “I’m trying to put on the best show that I can. Just put some excitement on track for people to watch. Look like I’m crashing without crashing. That’s drifting.”
Adam LZ will be drifting around the track again on Saturday.
Besides Friday morning’s activities, there are still plenty more events, lasting all weekend.
