Alabama Coach Nick Saban pitches Covid vaccines in new PSA

TUSCALOOSA, Alabama (WDEF) – The Alabama Department of Public Health has recruited one of the most recognizable faces in the state to pitch for Covid vaccines.

A new PSA featuring Coach Nick Saban will begin airing and circulating this week.

Coach Saban encourages people to get their vaccinations for that stadiums will be full again this fall.

The 69 year old had two brushes with COVID in 2020.

First was a false positive test early in the season.

Then in November he actually came down with it and was forced to miss the biggest regular season game of the year, the Iron Bowl with Auburn.
