Alabama man charged with distributing child pornography
FORT PAYNE, Ala. (WDEF) — A DeKalb County, Alabama man has been arrested for distributing child pornography.
The sheriff’s office arrested 40-year-old Bradley Ray Hancock of Fyffe.
They charged him with seven counts of dissemination of child pornography.
The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office learned about the incident on November 9, 2023. The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s Internet Crimes Against Children task force and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children alerted the sheriff’s office.
DeKalb authorities said Hancock was distributing these images through social media platform KIK.
Sheriff Nick Welden made a statement on the arrest:
“I am thankful for the continued partnership between the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Investigations Unit, the ICAC, and the NCMEC. Bringing cases of this nature to a close is of the highest priority at our office. I’m proud of our investigators and the hard work they perform daily on these types of cases as well as all cases they work.”
