Amaero holds ribbon cutting for new Cleveland headquarters, plant
CLEVELAND, Tenn. (WDEF)- A defense contractor has launched operations in Bradley County.
Amaero held their ribbon cutting ceremony Monday morning at their new plant at Spring Branch Industrial Park.
The company, which was founded in Australia, makes powder and other materials for defense and aerospace companies.
The plant also serves as their new global headquarters as part of a $55 million dollar investment, and is creating 105 new jobs.
Amaero CEO Hank Holland says this plant is an indication of the revitalization of American industry.
“Tennessee will be a big part of the solution as our country addresses its challenge which creates national security vulnerabilities and economic challenges. It’s an imperative that we must address as a country,” said Holland.
Spring Branch Industrial Park continues to expand as by the end of the year, food manufacturer SK Foods is expected to open their Bradley County plant.
