Amazon trash compactor catches fire Friday morning

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — A trash compactor caught on fire at the Amazon Fulfillment Center early Friday morning.

The Chattanooga Fire Department responded to the call at about 1:20 a.m. on February 9.

It happened at 7202 Discovery Drive in Chattanooga.

Firefighters pulled a dumpster from the building to get access to the boxes.

No one was injured in this incident.
