AN MLK Lesson: The Smallest Freedom Fighter Remembers Selma

CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – On Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, we share the story of Dr. King’s "smallest freedom fighter."

Sheyann Webb was just 8 years old when she joined the march on Selma that would become known as Bloody Sunday.

The author of "Selma, Lord, Selma" spoke at the Chattanooga Girls Leadership Academy on Friday.
