Annual Red Kettle Campaign Seeks Volunteer Support as Fundraising Efforts Continue

This holiday season, The Salvation Army of Greater Chattanooga is gearing up to launch its volunteer recruitment for the Red Kettle Campaign.

Since 18-91, the Red Kettle Campaign has been a beloved tradition, helping those in need during the holiday season.

Officials say it relies heavily on the dedication of volunteers.

“Every year, we conduct our annual Red Kettle Campaign. You see the kettles and the bells in front of our stores, and that is our largest single fundraiser of the year. This year, it has become even more crucial to have volunteer support. We always try to maintain a small staff of paid bell ringers, but the truth is it really takes those volunteers coming alongside us to give us the extra help we need to meet our fundraising goals,” said Major McClure, Area Commander for The Salvation Army.
