Anti-union group attacks UAW in video

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — An anti-union organization has issued a new video attacking the United Auto Workers, which is trying to organize Chattanooga’s Volkswagen plant.

The video was created by the group “Center for Union Facts.

It tells the story of three temporary workers at auto plants who were laid off.

They say the union and union boss, Guy Fain, are not fighting for them, even though they pay union dues.

“And I was terminated on January 24, 2024. They told us there was a big issue with absenteeism. That as long as we were coming to work, showing up and doing our job, we were on the pathway to full time.  So, I believed them,” one person in the video stated.

The UAW has also used videos to post claims by workers against Volkswagen actions.

Plant workers will vote on the union in two weeks.
