Fort Oglethorpe, GA (WDEF) – Hutcheson Medical Center will be reopening soon under new management.

ApolloMD is in the process of buying the hospital, and has entered into a management of services agreement.

Officials say they’re working on reopening the hospital and will announce details in a couple of days.

“Our plan is to have the Emergency Department up and running in the next several days,” said Boykin Robinson, M.D., ApolloMD Divisional President. “We are working diligently to address staffing and operational needs and should have more details as the week progresses.”
