From Atlanta to Chicago the Stop The Violence Campaign Stops in Chattanooga
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF)- One man gets waves of attention for his Stop the Violence campaign that’s as he travels from Atlanta to Chicago, and here is the catch. He is traveling solely in a wheelchair.
You may have even spotted this man on the streets of Chattanooga today as he entered into Tennessee this past Tuesday.
Vincent Robinson is making his way to Chicago in order to bring awareness to the public about Violence and the effect is has on the community.
Along the way,he’s speaking to everyone who will listen in order to spread love and peace.
He says he sees his mission as being bigger than himself.
“I just arrived in Tennessee, because of you know the people who are following me wanting to talk, and its a great thing. I had someone to text me saying maybe it is your mission to go to Chicago, but not the way you think you going to Chicago it is to reach the people on the way there,” says Robinson.
Robinson averages about 50 miles per day.
He should reach Chicago by the end of next week.
