Barn at S. Chickamauga Greenway catches fire

CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – Chattanooga firefighters put out a fire at a barn on the South Chickamauga Creek Greenway.

The old barn is on city property at 2882 Harrison Pike around 9:30 AM.

Firefighters with five fire companies used hand-held hoselines inside and outside the barn to battle the blaze.

They got it under control in about 15 minutes.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
