Baylor Baseball Splits State Quarterfinal Playoff Series With Briarcrest

Chattanooga-(WDEF-TV) Baylor and Briarcrest Christian split the first two games of their baseball quarterfinal playoff series on Wednesday, forcing one more game on Thursday at noon. The Red Raiders won the first contest 3-1. Taylor Shahan and Teddy Lepcio had RBI singles in the victory. Baylor pitcher Alex Butler got the complete game victory. The Saints bounced back to win game two 4-3. The winner of Thursday’s contest will advance to Spring Fling in Murfreesboro.
