Baylor Beats CCS 9-5 to Claim 8th Straight State Title

Murfreesboro, TN-(WDEF-TV) The Baylor softball machine keeps rolling. They defeated CCS 9-5 to claim their 8th consecutive state title. After falling behind 1-0 in the top of the first, Katie Raper laced a two RBI double in the bottom of the first to put the Red Raiders on top. They eventually pushed the lead to 6-2 before the Chargers clawed back. CCS eventually cut the margin to 7-5 before Baylor pulled away for the championship victory.
