Baylor Downs Brentwood Academy 28-24 to Claim State Title
Chattanooga-(WDEF-TV) Baylor used a long fourth quarter drive to score the go ahead touchdown to beat Brentwood Academy 28-24 to claim the Division II-AAA state title on a rainy night at Finley Stadium. Red Raiders went 80-yards in 12 plays to get the go ahead touchdown with 3:30 left in the game. Baylor quarterback Briggs Cherry hit tight end Braxton Rein on a six yard touchdown toss for the winning score. Red Raiders star running back David Gabriel-Georges finished the night with 151 yards rushing and two touchdowns. Larry Sanders paced Brentwood Academy with 251-yards and three touchdowns.
