Baylor holds off McCallie 8-6 to advance to Spring Fling

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — Rivals Baylor and McCallie hooked up in a dogfight Thursday with the Red Raiders holding off Big Blue 8-6 to punch their ticket to Spring Fling.

The game was tied at six in the bottom of the sixth when Baylor loaded the bases.

They scored on a walk and then a sac fly from Graham King.

Nelson McKnight then got a strikeout to end the game in the top of the seventh to send the Red Raiders to Murfreesboro.
