Baylor-McCallie Rivalry Just Another Game (Not Really)

Chattanooga-(WDEF-TV) Baylor and McCallie broke out the hype videos this week for their football game Friday.
But doesn’t this rivalry have enough hype already?
Apparently not.
Six years go, Baylor assistant Eric Westmoreland broke out the boom box in practice blasting the song ‘Rapper’s Delight’.

Seems everyone is rappin’ to the beat for this annual showdown. Fans in the stands put on a show as well.

Baylor is ranked number one. McCallie is number two. Long running tradition between the schools.

Just another game right coaches?

Reporter:”Could you ever tell your team this is just another game?”
Said McCallie head coach Joel Bradford:”I already have. The thing with this game is yes I can brace for the opportunity to play in a big game. Obviously it’s a rivalry game. Lot of energy behind it. But the key is just you have got to prepare the same way.”
Said Baylor head coach Eric Kimrey:”Well you can tell them that. I’m not sure if they’ll believe it or not. They feel the intensity of the rivalry.”

The game will be played at Baylor, and the kickoff time is set for 7:15pm to accommodate local television.
