BBB Starts Nationwide “Scam Tracker”

CHATTANOOGA, TN. (WDEF-TV) – Not a week goes by that you don’t hear about yet another scam.
Efforts by unscrupulous people to get your money include everything from fake prize giveaways to social security scares.

One of the problems with stopping the crime is trying to track down the source.
The Better Business Bureau has come up with a computer program called Scam Tracker, which has the ability to help regional and local law enforcement agencies in their prosecution.
All 112 BBB’s are now using the program.
