Bear wandering neighborhoods on Signal Mountain
SIGNAL MOUNTAIN, Tennessee (WDEF) – Signal Mountain Police confirm there seems to be a bear wandering through neighborhoods.
They have had numerous reports of the bear making it’s way around the front of the mountain.
There have been sightings on Wilson Avenue near McCoy Farms and Barrington, across from the Town pool.
Police say that the TWRA is aware of the bear’s presence.
But they urge people not to engage with it.
“Bears will almost always look for and find an escape route if they are left alone.
