Behind the Curtain – “Les Miserables” at the Memorial Auditorium

News 12’s Amelia Greer goes behind the curtain at the Memorial Auditorium to learn how the Tivoli Theatre Foundation brings award-winning Broadway plays like “Les Miserables” closer to home.

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – Ever wondered how the Tivoli Theatre Foundation is able to bring a piece of NYC to Chattanooga? Amelia Greer takes us “Behind the Curtain” with Tivoli Theatre Foundation CEO Nick Wilkinson to show us the lengthy process of bringing hit Broadway shows to the Scenic City.

Amelia Greer was able to catch glimpses of the eighth Broadway season’s final play, Les Miserables, go from an empty stage to one of the largest Broadway plays in history.

From planning years in advance for each show to ensuring each actor never has to worry about a meal, the Tivoli Theatre Foundation does a lot of planning with each show production to ensure the highest quality entertainment is at our front door.
