Bill would put external cameras on school buses
NASHVILLE (WDEF) – A new bill this year in the Tennessee legislature would put cameras on the outside of school buses to watch all of us.
The exterior cameras would record vehicles that pass the bus when it is stopped.
The bill would also allow bus drivers to submit reports that you passed them.
A first violation, if you are busted by one of the cameras or driver, would be a non-moving violation.
The second violation would then match current law, which is a Class A misdemeanor.
