Blood Drive for Local Boy Scout

Chattanooga, TN (WDEF)-A special blood drive was held today at all blood assurance locations around Chattanooga.

The blood drive was held in honor of local boy scout, Adrian Senentz.

The 11-year-old was hospitalized last weekend after a tree fell on him while he was on an expedition with the rest of his troop.

He is currently being treated at the Children’s Hospital at Erlanger.

The Senentz family encouraged the community to show support for their son by giving blood. Their son has gone through many units of blood, according to Charlie Callari with Blood Assaurance.

Adrian has many broken bones along with a head injury and punctured lung.
