Board approves Dr. Lori Mann Bruce as UTC Chancellor
CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – UTC officially has a new chancellor.
The University of Tennessee Board of Trustees officially approved the appointment of Dr. Lori Mann Bruce Friday morning.
She takes over on June 30th.
Dr. Bruce is currently the provost and vice president for academic affairs at Tennessee Tech.
The board also welcomed former Governor Bill Haslam.
He was appointed to the board by Speaker Cameron Sexton.
Dr. Bruce’s appointment was welcomed back in Chattanooga.
