Board of Regents approves 3% tuition hike for two year schools

CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – The Tennessee Board of Regents on Friday approved a tuition hike of 3% for their member institutions, including Chattanooga State and Cleveland State.

It is their first tuition increase since 2021 and their second in four years.

The Board met this week at the Chattanooga State campus.

In addition to approving next year’s budget, the Board also approved several new degree programs.

That includes an Associated of Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree program in electric vehicle Engineering Technology at Chattanooga State
