Body found in Bridgeport, Alabama

Chattanooga, TN (WDEF)- The Bridgeport Police Department found a dead body in an isolated area of County Road 208 in Bridgeport, AL. 

Police notified the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office around 3 am Saturday morning. 

Officials knew the death was due to homicide upon arrival. No identification was located at the scene, but the subsequent investigation has identified the victim as 21-year-old Dejion Roberson. 

The investigation is on-going.
