Body found in Tennessee River after Market Street Bridge incident

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — Authorities have recovered the body of the individual who jumped from Market Street Bridge Thursday afternoon.
According to the Chattanooga Police Department (CPD), the body was was recovered from the bottom of the Tennessee River Friday afternoon.
Multiple agencies have been searching for the body over the past 24 hours.
Evidence suggests the person who jumped from Market Street Bridge Thursday, is the same one found in the river Friday.
The preliminary investigation suggests the individuals death was not caused by someone else.
