Bond Revoked for 16 Year Old Lookout Valley Triple Murder Suspect
Chattanooga, TN (WDEF) – Judge Barry Steelman has revoked the half million dollar bond for the youngest suspect in the Lookout Valley triple murders.
16 Year Old Jacob Allison will be sent back to the Silverdale Workhouse.
He faces new charges from a high speed chase last week in southern Alabama.
The Greenville Advocate reports that Allison was headed back home after a weekend trip to the beach.
He was behind the wheel when he was stopped at a driver’s license checkpoint Monday at 3:45 AM.
Deputies say he told them he needed to pull over to reach his wallet.
When they let him do it, he sped away.
Crenshaw County Sheriff Mickey Powell told the Greenville Advocate “He took off so fast he almost struck Deputy Lee Simmons, who was speaking to a motorist in front of him.”
“If Deputy Simmons had not been paying close attention, he could’ve easily been hurt or killed. Allison had no intention of stopping.”
Troopers, deputies and city police took part in the chase.
It ended in the next county when a roadblock ran Allison off the road into a ditch.
He faces charges of reckless endangerment and trying to evade police.
Allison is one of the three friends charged with killing three people at an RV on Kelly’s Ferry Road last spring.
He will be tried as an adult in that case.
