BOO AT THE CHATTANOOGA ZOO

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF)- The Chattanooga Zoo hosted their annual Halloween celebration, “Boo at the Zoo,” featuring family-friendly festivities for everyone to enjoy.

The celebration kicked off at 4p.m. this evening, with workers dressed up at the gates, ready to greet the little tricker treaters.

Arguably the meet and greet with beloved superhero characters was the most popular activity of the night.

There was Spider-Man, Batman, Batwoman, Spiderwoman, Wonder Woman and others from Magic Lamp Entertainment.

Boo at the Zoo’s tickets is market at $11 for members and $16 for non-members.

Any child under the age of two-years-old is allowed in for free.

Jake Cash, Chattanooga Zoo’s Director of Marketing and Communications says, “Basically it’s our big annual Halloween celebration, we’ve been doing it for over twenty years. Lots of people have come out in costumes, we have character interactions from magical lamp entertainment, lots of awesome decorations, and lots of candy…”

The event will be taking place October 11, 12, 18, 19, 25 and 26, 4 to 8 p.m. each night at the Chattanooga Zoo, on 301 N Holtzclaw Ave.

The space is limited each evening, and guests will select a time slot for their arrival when they purchase Boo in the Zoo tickets.

It’s a great time to enjoy some fall weather and Halloween activities.
