Bradley Central High School student dies after car accident

BRADLEY COUNTY, Tenn. (WDEF) —  A Bradley Central High School student died Saturday after being involved in a car accident.

16-year-old Brodie King fought for his life for a week, before passing away in a Chattanooga hospital May 24, 2025.

A GoFundMe has been established to help his family with medical bills and funeral arrangements.

According to the GoFundMe, King was apart of the Class of 2027.

He was also a member of the Bradley Central High School football team.

King’s obituary says a service celebrating his life will follow the visitation time at 6:00 p.m. at the Companion Ridge Sanctuary of Companion Funeral Home.

The GoFundMe states he was kind, full of life, and always ready to make someone smile.
