Bradley Central’s Boo Carter Making Early Impression on Vols Coach Josh Heupel

Tennessee signed three kids from the Chattanooga area during the early December signing period.
McCallie’s Carson Gentle, and Bradley Central’s Marcus Goree Junior and Boo Carter.
Goree and Carter are already practicing on Rocky Top, and it hasn’t taken Carter long to get Coach Heupel’s attention.

Said Heupel:”Dynamic play-maker. Played both sides of the line of scrimmage. Was really good as a returner as well. We’ve already seen a lot of those skill sets from him. This might be day three or day four already for him out on the grass with us. He’s electric. He has got great change of direction. Short area of quickness. Got a good football IQ. He’s natural as a returner too. Seen some of that from him. Really excited about who he is. Got a real maturity about him on the football field that’s rare for a high school kid.”
