Bradley Central’s Harmonie Ware Delivers March Madness in Victory Over Bearden

Murfreesboro, TN-(WDEF-TV) March Madness swarmed Bradley Central in their state quarterfinal game against Bearden. Harmonie Ware rebounded an air-ball from Erika Swick and put it in the basket right before the horn sounded to give Bradley Central a 55-53 win in the BlueCross basketball state championships.  Bearettes threatened to run away with the game in the second half pushing their lead to 16 points. Then in the fourth quarter, guard Sloan Carpenter fouled out along with Hannah Jones. The Bulldogs kept chipping away eventually tieing the score at 53 with a minue left on a driving bucket from Natalya Hodge. Bearden stayed in the game at the foul line hitting 26 of 34 free throws. Hodge had a game high 23 points. Kimora Fields led the Bearettes with 22, while Ware added 16, including the only two treys of the game for the Bearettes.  Bradley Central advances to the semifinals on Friday afternoon

with a 12:30 tip against Cookeville.
