Bradley Central’s Tito Williams Plans to Take His Talents and Perfect GPA to Northwestern

Cleveland, TN-(WDEF-TV)  Said Bradley Central defensive back Tito Williams: “We’re all real close with each other. I mean, we’re, we’re with each other all day in school and out of school. So that’s a big part of it. And then just being able to play with each other’s weaknesses and strengths is just another big part of it too.”

Bradley Central’s Tito Williams is a four year starter and as a coach on the field, it’s been cool.

Said Tito: “I mean, it’s been a crazy journey starting for four years, but I mean, I’ve loved it and it’s just, it’s, it’s been humbling, I guess, to just see, like, kind of myself grow up over these four years. So it’s been great.

Said head coach Damon Floyd: “Well, not only him, uh, Tito’s obviously an unbelievable player. He’s an unbelievable, uh, student. Uh, he’s an unbelievable person. So, he’s a leader on our team. But we, along with him, we got five other guys that have started, oh, you know, for us since they were freshmen. So, we got six guys that have played a lot of football here. So, they know our terminology, know what we expect. And, uh, Tito is a leader of our defense, but he’s also the coach on the field. And, uh, along with him and Marcus Gorey in the secondary, they make a lot of calls themselves. So, uh, it’s very, it’s very… beneficial as a coach to have those type of guys out there.

He is proud to be part of this talented, undefeated team so far this season.

Said Tito: ” I mean, we’ve gone through a lot of adversity throughout the games this year, and I mean, that’s a big help to our coaching staff being able to adjust. I mean, that’s just them being sparked and then I was being able to just adapt. I mean, it’s who we are. That’s the type of athletes were so we just happened to just be able to get it done.

He is also going to Northwestern to play at the next level.

Said Tito: “The head coach right now, uh, David LeBron. He, he’s a good guy and he really just, me and him really just gelled the first time we talked and we kept on building that relationship and it’s just been great ever since.”

And his academics won’t be a problem for him.

Said Tito: “I, I got a 4.0 so it fits in there too. The million dollar question. What do you study? So, I’m, I’m gonna major in math there. That’s what I’m gonna do. I major in math there.”
