After months of arguing over stray animals, Bradley county leaders are giving up on plans.
On Monday Night, Commissioners considered a couple of measures to deal with strays.
The county has been under pressure to deal with the issue.
But after much debate, neither of the two plans put forward could get a majority of votes.
So Commissioners are giving up on paying for animal pickups.
County Mayor Gary Davis says the county has other priorities, including the increased cost of Lake Forest Middle School.
The city of Cleveland still does pick up stray animals.
The SPCA also still houses animals, which is paid for by the county.
