Bradley County Child Abuse Arrest

Cleveland, TN (WDEF) Bradley County officials arrest a woman after she told them she repeatedly hit a child across the back with a horse riding crop.

33-year-old Amanda Prince faces child abuse charges.

Deputies began investigating after an 8-year-old boy failed to come to school Monday.

They went to the child’s home and found the child and his guardians.

A deputy noticed injuries to the child’s back.

Child Services was notified, and investigators questioned Prince; who admitted to the abuse.
