Bradley County students involved in minor bus crash

CLEVELAND, Tenn. (WDEF) — Students in Bradley County were involved in a minor accident Thursday morning.

Bus 58 was on the way to Lake Forrest Middle School.

Thankfully, no injuries were reported by the students or bus driver.

Maranda Reffner with Bradley County Schools released the following statement:

The safety of our students is our top priority, and appropriate protocols were followed to ensure everyone’s well-being. Parents of the students on board were immediately notified, and a replacement bus was dispatched to transport the students safely to school.
We appreciate the quick response from our transportation team and local emergency services. Bradley County Schools will continue to monitor the situation and take any necessary measures to maintain the safety and security of our students.

As of now, we do not know what caused the bus to crash. We’ll continue to keep you updated here on News 12 when we learn more.
