Bradley County welcomes Skyla Wilson back home after Endangered Child Alert
CLEVELAND, Tennessee (WDEDF) – Skyla Wilson is back home in Bradley County after more than a week on the run with her non-custodial father.
In court Friday morning, Bradley County officials updated the warrant against Michael Wilson to include aggravated kidnapping.
Then officials and family members talked to the media about the case.
Sheriff Eric Watson says police in Grand Junction, Colorado stopped Wilson’s vehicle based on a tip.
The father remains jailed in Colorado, but should return to Bradley County in the coming weeks to face the new charge.
At the press conference, Skyla’s grandmother talked about getting the little girl back, but Skyla stole the show as she walker around the podium.
