Bradley County woman arrested for multiple burglaries

CLEVELAND, Tenn. (WDEF) — Bradley County deputies arrested a woman who they believe is responsible for two separate burglaries.

According to the Bradley County Sheriff’s Office, the burglaries happened at a home on Dalton Pike and at a home on Durkee Road. Homeowners reported significant property losses, according to deputies.

Deputies arrested Freda Darlene Garrett. They charged her with two counts of aggravated burglary and two counts of theft over $2,500. They placed her in the Bradley County Jail and gave her a $20,000 bond.

However, authorities said she has outstanding warrants from Polk County, Tennessee and Floyd County, Georgia. Therefore, they are holding her without bond on those warrants.

The sheriff’s office said they identified Garrett based on her previous interactions with law enforcement. “This crucial lead facilitated the execution of a search warrant, which resulted in the recovery of some of the stolen items from both burglaries,” the sheriff’s office said in a press release.

Bradley County authorities are that asking anyone with additional information on these incidents contact the sheriff’s office.
