Brainerd Claims Region Tournament Title Over Rival Howard

Signal Mountain, TN-(WDEF-TV) Brainerd beat rival Howard in their region tournament finals on Thursday night 60-49 at Signal Mountain High School. The Panthers built a 26-18 halftime lead and went on to capture the victory. Brainerd’s Kevin Halfacre led all scorers with 18 points. He was also named the MVP of the region tournament.
