Brainerd Falls to Top Ranked CPA in the State Quarterfinals
Brainerd lost to top-ranked CPA 77-43 in the state quarterfinals in Murfreesboro.
The Panthers trailed by only four at halftime, but they managed just eleven points total in the second half, including two in the fourth quarter.
Brainerd hit only 14-percent of their shots in the final two quarters.
The Panthers also hit only one three-pointer for the entire game.
Kentrell Evans led Brainerd with 11 points, while Jesse Walker added ten.
6’8 CPA forward Braxton Blackwell had 31-points and 9 rebounds.
8th grade point guard Tyger Campbell added 15-points and 8 assists.
CPA also out-rebounded Brainerd 44-20.
