Brainerd Names Former Star Player Venus Lacy as New Girls Basketball Coach
The best girls basketball player in Brainerd high school history will now coach the Brainerd girls team.
Venus Lacy has been named the Panthers new head coach. Lacy led Brainerd to their one and only state title in 1984.
She also owns a national title as college player at Lousiana Tech, as well as a gold medal from the ’96 Olympic team.
