Brainerd Road Tunnel Wreck Fatality

Chattanooga, TN (WDEF) A car crash early Friday morning on Brainerd Road claims the life of one person.

Chattanooga Police say the car hit the concrete exterior of the tunnels.

Emergency crews found the driver unresponsive and took the victim to the hospital.

The driver later died from injuries from the crash.

Police will release the victim’s name after they have notified the family.

They continue to investigate.
