Brainerd’s single touchdown enough to beat Howard

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — Brainerd and Howard met for a sloppy Saturday afternoon special off North Moore Road. Neither team could get the ball moving in the first half, leaving the game scoreless at halftime. Finally, in the third, the Panthers started to gain momentum. Quarterback Jeremy Ferguson found receiver Diamond Bates for a 30-yard touchdown. That’s all the Panthers needed to win, 8-0.
