When News 12 arrived for the interview, the previous owner of the store alerted us the suspect was actually IN the store, brazenly applying for a job.

"Today I was just coming by saying hi," said previous owner Daniel Shoats. "A gentleman that looked like he was on the video, same hat, same type of ear lobe rings, just kind of matched the same person so we dialed 9-1-1."

Shoats said they didn’t tell the man they were calling police.

When the officer arrived, he interviewed the suspect who voluntarily went with the officer to the station to talk with detectives.
