Brentwood Academy vs. Baylor School

Chattanooga, TN (WDEF) – Baylor tried to stay perfect on the season Friday night as they faced Brentwood Academy.

The Red Raiders might feel like they’re trying to stop an SEC team, since Brentwood features three offensive linemen who have committed to play in the SEC.

Practicing against that type of talent must have helped their defense because Will Austin had no time to think in the back field as eagles chase him around until Max Mullen finally pulls him down.

That sort of defensive play is the reason Brentwood was leading 22 to nothing in the 2nd quarter, but they kept on the pressure.

Austin looking deep on 3rd and long, and he finds Evan Beddoe from Brentwood.

That pick setting the eagles up, and they give the ball to Prince Momado.

He takes the ball right up the middle and rips off a nice run.

Using the run to set up the pass, Jeremiah Oatsvall rolls out and launches it deep to Prince Momado, who was all alone and walks into the end zone making it 29 to nothing in the second.

Baylor getting the ball on a short field looking to get some momentum they give it to Adrien Harris for a nice run that heads out of bounds and on 4th and 1.

I’m guessing dive, and I guess wrong.

Will Austin keeps it and finds Gage Upshaw in the end zone for a Baylor touchdown right before the half to make the score 29 to 7.

Baylor got some mojo going the rest of the way putting up 30 points, but just couldn’t catch Brentwood as they fall 42 to 30.
